Also, DOST and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Danang city officially launched Research and Innovation Contest with the theme of "Unlocking creativity is the fastest way to succeed". The contest will evaluate ideas, proposed solutions to society challenges. These ideas have to meet some criteria including novelty, creativity and applicability with respect to city development orientation which are "City of 4-safe program", "Smart city", "Innovative Start-up city". The contest aims to search for solutions to further boost city growth, encourage research, innovation, technology application and more importantly create a readily available idea collection for Danang incubators.

In addition, Start-up and innovation experts from Danang incubator, Song Han incubator, Institute of Research and executive training VN-UK shared their experiences in fostering start-up communities. They also answered questions and enquiries from students about how to start-up, how to overcome financial and technical obstacles…

In the next phase, we hope these start-up and innovation boosting programs of DOST and other stakeholders, will drive a significant increase in highly-rated and successful start-up projects. This will help to build Danang as well as Vietnam into a sustainable fruitful living environment and in the process, hopefully create a young generation of entrepreneurs full of creativity, inspiration and enthusiasm.
